How often do backflow preventer valves need to be replaced?

Backflow preventer valves are not replaced on a fixed schedule. Counties require annual testing, and you replace only if the valve fails the test or leaks beyond repair. In West Palm Beach and nearby areas, ECM’s certified technicians can often test the same day, handle county paperwork, and repair or install as needed. We arrive with parts and calibrated testers and can re-certify on completion, so you don’t need multiple contractors.
